Experienced Christian Counselor part-time

We are looking for an experienced Christian therapist to welcome into our staff family on a part time basis of 4-8 hours per
week.  There is good potential for more hours over time.  This is an excellent opportunity for the right therapist who wants to
work part time or for a therapist who wants more hours and is willing to work to generate additional referrals.  Patients will be
seen in our office during our normal office hours M-Th  8-4**.

This is not an internship position.

We are  particularly interested in finding a seasoned therapist whose areas of specialization and expertise would compliment
our practice.   Our primary interest is finding a versatile, well trained individual of faith with solid general therapy skills.   A
big plus for us would be someone with experience working with addictive personalities and addictions of all types, including
eating, dieting, relationships, love, sex, work, and exercise.  We would also find a therapist experienced in trauma and certified
in EMDR especially attractive.

Referrals will be based on practice need, or when the unique experience and skills of the new therapist best fit the needs of the
patient.  Even though this opportunity is part-time, there is potential to expand to full time if the therapist has an interest in a
niche area to develop and is willing to market this to referral sources.    All referrals generated for the practice by the therapist
will be retained by the therapist.  We are looking for someone who will be a good fit with our existing staff.  

We are located in Frisco, Tx., convenient to Plano, McKinney, North Dallas ... just 1 block east of the Dallas North Tollway at
Parkwood and Warren.

Requirements:  Current Texas Licensure (LPC), Master's or Doctorate in Counseling or Psychology;  minimum 5 years
post-training clinical therapy experience.  Therapist must have the ability to integrate Christian Biblical counseling into
therapy and have experience in treating adults and adolescents.  The successful candidate will demonstrate maturity,
professionalism, integrity and strong character, as well as excellent communication skills.  Because our practice is
fee-for-service and does not participate with any insurance companies, we can only consider candidates who are on no
